Stephen Griffin is a Managing Director and a founding member of Griffin Monroe Group. Stephen has worked in the financial services and investment banking industry since 1992 and has extensive experience in the structuring of both equity and debt strategies and at transacting the purchase, sale and combinations of both public and private companies.
Prior to starting Griffin Monroe Stephen Griffin worked with a billion dollar private equity firm, in their West Coast offices where he successfully completed transactions totaling more than $125 million in committed capital in his role as Vice President of Corporate Finance. Stephen began his career with National Brokerage Firm as an Investment Advisor where he managed cash and trading accounts for companies and individual investors. Prior to his role with the private equity firm Stephen Griffin was the Investment Strategist for two small investment firms with combined assets of approximately $400 million where he was responsible for the day to day trading and management of the portfolios and management of the firms brokerage operations and support staff during his tenure. Stephen received a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Arizona State University, he holds the FINRA Series 7 and 63 licenses, California real estate license and is a Enrolled Agent, and a Certified Merger & Acquisition Advisor (CM&AA).
